26th Annual Victor Celebrates the Arts Show & Sale

Labor Day Weekend

All paintings in the VCTA Show & Sale will be painted en plein air - on site, directly from life - within a 10-mile radius of Victor City Hall during the week before the show and sale.

We are excited for you to visit Victor, CO this year to help us celebrate VCTA’s 26th anniversary as "Plein Air" artists from around the country gather to paint on location in our historic town.  Professional and Emerging artists participate in painting various scenes in and around the City of Victor and many nearby legendary 1890s gold mining sites.  Our show is judged by an established and respected professional artist, and original works produced for the show will be available for sale in the gallery.

All are welcome at this exciting and unique event!  As in previous years, we expect dozens of artists to participate, with more than 20 awards to be presented, with total cash prizes of over $4,000.00.  Thousands of visitors from many states attend the show and enjoy watching the artists painting around Victor.

2025 SHOW AND SALE Summary

This year was another great success — 53 artists participated, entering 168 paintings into the main show and 12 into Brush Rush. Of those, 77 paintings (46%) found new homes, purchased from 39 artists (74%) — an incredible accomplishment worth celebrating. Congratulations on being part of this achievement for our community of artists!

As always, we remain committed to keeping commission rates low so that the majority of profits return directly to our artists. We’re pleased to share that the rate remains unchanged at 30% this year. Congratulations!!

Thank you to all of our amazing artists, vendors, sponsors, visitors, patrons, and volunteers!  Thank you to our Victor and extended Gold Camp community for your support!
